• Local operators. Guides and businesses rooted in the places they share.
• Small groups. Groups of 16 or fewer.
• Well rated. Rated 4.6 or better, with traveler reviews you can read before booking.
• Worth your time. A particular craft, landscape, meal or story that makes the activity belong to its place.

We leave out shopping-stop tours, mass-market shore excursions, hop-on buses, animal riding and captive-wildlife shows.
